As Manager of Agronomy, Dr. Kevin Hancock works with TerViva’s Tree Development and Agronomy teams to better understand the physiology and biology of pongamia and its interaction with the environment. In addition to this, Kevin also assists with the development of field monitoring strategies and caretaking programs, and manages partnerships with outside research organizations in Florida.
Coming from a Florida Citrus family, Kevin Hancock has worked in many facets of the Citrus Industry from nursery production, production manager of large citrus acreage to private consulting in Florida as well as internationally. Kevin received his B.S. degree in Citrus/Business from Florida Southern College in 1979. He received his M.S. in Fruit Crops from Mississippi State University as well as his Ph.D in Plant Science with an emphasis on physiology in 1983.
