Vamsi is a self-professed science geek with a PhD in Molecular Genetics.  He has researched macaques in Morocco and worked at a biotechnology company that manufactured vaccines in India.  He has recently become fascinated with trees and plants, and has had a passion for issues related to sustainability and climate change.  Hence, his interest in the work being done at TerViva.  His primary responsibility at TerViva is to help create edible animal feed derived from pongamia seed.
