Michael Taylor is a skilled nursery manager and grower who is expert cultivating industry best seedlings and improving efficiencies through creative problem solving and the utilization of new technologies.
Prior to joining Terviva, Michael spent his career in forestry in the Pacific Northwest, where he managed large scale farm and greenhouse nurseries. Michael has extensive experience improving crop quality and efficiently producing millions of seedlings. A self-proclaimed tree nerd, Michael enjoys diving deep into the physiology and morphology of pongamia to harness the best growing and out planting performance possible.
Michael earned an MS in Forest Science with an emphasis in nursery management and reforestation and a BS in Forest management from Oregon State University. He loves the outdoors, boating and playing in the water any chance he gets.
